DSC_0003.JPGwe are cordially inviting you to 12th year of the veteran tournament (above 35 years) called Havirov Turkey. We will play not only for the real baked turkey but also for the turkey in liquid form.
 
In addition to the Czech clubs, many veteran teams from England, Poland, Ukraine, etc. also took part in the tournaments.
 
We would like to invite you to play rugby and to have a good time with us. In the nearby town of Ostrava you can try to reach your personal best in number of bars and pubs visited at one street at one night. The Stodolni Street is unique place not only within our republic but also the whole Europe: in this compact area you will find special atmosphere with more than 50 bars, pubs and restaurants. Many visitors from across our country and from abroad are coming here to entertain themselves, including whole rugby teams
 
In addition to the Stodolni Street you can visit within your stay here for example a well-known brewery or make a trip into the Beskydy mountains with the open-air museum in the town of Roznov. The region of the town of Ostrava (the part of it is the town of Havirov) is a big industrial area historically based on the coal mining and steel industry. Nowadays most of the mines and steelworks are closed but some of them are preserved as national cultural sights. Therefore you can also visit the mining museum Landek or the steel works museum Vitkovice with a mine, a cokery, a furnace and other special works at one place.
 
For the teams that would like to use the proximity of Poland we can organize also the trip to the historical town of Krakow (cca 180 km) or the visit of the death camp of Auschwitz.

srdečně Vás zveme na 12. ročník turnaje pro veterány od 35 let zvaný Havířovský krocan, ve kterém se hraje nejen o skutečného pečeného krocana, ale také o krocana v tekuté podobě - o Wild Turkey Bourbon.
 
V roce 2017 se organizátorům nepodařilo turnaj uskutečnit, ale my hráči, kteří jsme dorostli do věku, kdy se můžeme hlásit mezi skutečně dospělé a můžeme začít hrát ragby v té nejvyšší kategorii nad 35 let, nechceme, aby se už docela zavedený turnaj ztratil ze světa. Proto jsme se letos ujali organizace turnaje my a velmi by nás potěšilo, kdybyste nás, kolegové veteráni, poctili návštěvou.
 
Zveme vás, abyste si přijeli zahrát ragby a také se po turnaji v areálu našeho stadionu pobavit. A kdyby vám to nestačilo, v nedaleké Ostravě se můžete pokusit o osobní rekord v návštěvě barů a hospod na jednom místě, na jedné ulici. Jistě vám nemusíme připomínat, že ostravská Stodolní ulice je tak trochu evropský unikát – na této ulici a jejím nejbližším okolí je přes 50 barů, klubů a hospod a na Stodolní se objevuje stále více hostů z celé Evropy včetně celých ragbyových týmů.
